STRANI

Strání is a small town located on borderline between Czech republic and Slovakia. It is surrounded by protected natural area of White Carpathians. The aim of the project was a reconstruction of a public space adjacent to the town hall. The task was to create a place where people could stop, rest and meet their neighbors. New wooden deck around existing linden-tree has been proposed as well as new materials, surfaces and lightning concept. The project reconsiders pedestrian paths, bicycle connections and parking places.
